Why We Built This Site
Minnesota publishes a good deal of warrant information, but the work is figuring out which office holds the piece you need. A warrant does not sit in one place. The judge who signs it sets the charge and the bail, and that record stays with the case file. The sheriff is the office that serves it and can say whether it has been executed. A bench warrant for a missed court date stays with the same District Court that set the case, because Minnesota has no separate municipal or justice-of-the-peace court holding its own warrant docket. The state's own material also has to be read carefully: an empty search result is not a clearance, because warrant-index data can stay confidential until a person is in custody or has appeared. We collect the contact details, search paths, and request steps for those offices and keep them in one place.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Minnesota court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for any person or read a case back to you
- We cannot recall, quash, remove, or clear a warrant in any system
- We cannot accept payment toward a warrant or post bond for anyone
- We cannot book a court date, arrange a surrender, or set up a walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to your situation
- We cannot promise that every fee, phone number, or address on this site is current today
Only the District Court that issued the warrant can confirm whether it is active, and only the sheriff can describe what happened when it was served. We can point you to those offices, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes run by third-party providers. Those companies set their own prices and operate their own services. If one of those tools leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue keeps this site free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what its results contain, and nothing it returns is an official warrant check.
